The
above room is the "spin room" or cycling
exercize room at Gold's Gym in Port St. Lucie Fl.
My task was to create a fluorescent black light
environment for the cyclists.
|
|
I
came
up with a space landscape (under normal light)
that opens up the room
and provides a visual stimulus for the cyclers.
|
|
During
the hour long excercize sessions the cyclist can
now look at the above
black light version. You can see
me in the mirror behind a tripod. I
had to photograph
the mural using multiple timed exposures.
|
|
The detail
above
reveals an alien bicyclist and hidden images
only seen with the black light on.

The
above mural was completed on Sept 17, 2005
I duplicated the tiled floor in the entrance and extended
the patio another 6 feet. Ernesta now has a beach scene
to enjoy her morning coffee.

Rick
and Carol Adams requested a mural for their downstairs
game room. Rick said, "hey Glenn, I am going to suggest one
thing for the mural, Gillette Stadium". Well I did the best I could
with the research I had. I threw in a Molson Beer bottle, the Blue
Angels, a wooden frame to match the Patriots Dart board case at
right and chiseled his name on the top.

The
above mural was completed August 12, 2005
This mural had two challenges, the porthole at upper left
and the rectangular storage space at lower right (it will be
a simulated treasure chest). The Moser's have adopted
another child and wanted a celebratory mural for Brendon's room.

|
This
28 ft x 12 ft mural was commissioned by Gold's Gym
in St. Lucie West on July 12, 2005.
Called "A Brighter Horizon", it was designed for the children's room
and took 19 days (nights) to finish.
